1. Initial contact/enquiry
Simply complete our initial enquiry form here or request that one be emailed to you by contacting us at admin@michaellimbbuilders.com.au. Once we have received your initial enquiry form, we will be in contact to discuss how we may be able to best assist you further. This is usually done by meeting for an initial consultation.
2. Initial consultation
Once you have submitted your enquiry form we will be in contact to book your consultation. We start by meeting with you to further understand your vision, lifestyle needs, budget, and goals. Whether you have plans already or need help designing from scratch, this is where we listen, offer guidance, and discuss how we can bring your dream home to life.
3. Concept & design collaboration
Working closely with our inhouse design team (or your chosen designer or architect), we refine the concept, focusing on functionality, aesthetics, sustainability, and energy efficiency. 4. Costing & proposal
Once the design is developed, we prepare a detailed, transparent cost estimate. This includes a comprehensive breakdown of materials, inclusions, and timelines. We’ll walk you through everything to ensure clarity and confidence before moving forward.
5. Approvals & documentation
We handle all necessary documentation, including engineering details, energy assessments, and council approvals. Our team manages this process efficiently to keep your project on track.
6. Contract signing
With all details finalised, we enter into a formal building contract (typically HIA or MBA standard contracts), giving you peace of mind with clear terms, timeframes, and expectations.
7. Construction begins
Now the exciting part starts! Our experienced team gets to work, focusing on precision craftsmanship and high-performance building practices. We keep you informed at every stage, from site preparation to framing, fixing stage, and finishes.
8. Regular communication & site meetings
Throughout construction, we maintain open communication and invite you to regular site meetings. You’ll see firsthand how your home is taking shape and have opportunities to ask questions or discuss any variations.
9. Completion & handover
Once construction is complete, we carry out a comprehensive final inspection and professional clean to ensure your home is finished to the highest standard. We’ll then guide you through a detailed handover walkthrough, covering every aspect of your new home. You’ll also receive a complete handover pack, including all warranties, certifications, and relevant documentation.
10. Aftercare & warranty support
Our relationship doesn’t end at handover. We stand by our work with dedicated aftercare and warranty support, ensuring your home continues to perform beautifully for years to come.
