Clairville Passivhaus

A sustainable, high-performance passive house (Passivhaus) build in Anglesea

Clairville Passivhaus has been architecturally designed by Studio B Architects to fit beautifully within its bushland setting. Constructed on a north sloping triangular site using rammed earth, spotted gum cladding and matt basalt Colorbond.

This home features many alternative living spaces within 180m2 and gathers around a central courtyard. It serves a couple who host guests, requiring a warm sense of welcome, but with plenty of privacy and designed efficiently to meet zero carbon in use.

This ultra efficient home has high performance insulation and an airtight building envelope, maintaining a comfortable temperature all year round without the need of traditional heating, plus the fresh air ventilation system ensures healthy air quality.
